Woman airlifted to hospital after street collision in Rouse Hill
A lady aged in her 40s has been flown to hospital in a crucial condition following a two-car collision on Annangrove Road in Rouse Hill this morning.
The Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance shortly before 9am and landed in a paddock nearby the scene.
CareFlight’s crucial care staff and NSW Ambulance paramedics labored collectively on scene to deal with the patient. NSW Fire and Rescue labored to extricate the affected person from the wreckage with help from NSW Police, NSW Ambulance, and CareFlight. The different driver didn't require hospitalisation.
CareFlight’s specialist physician and NSW Ambulance critical care paramedic treated the woman for important injuries to her legs, arms, and accidents to her face, as well as for shock. She was intubated and positioned into an induced coma to stabilise her before a brief transport via ambulance to the helicopter.
